Calling all young anglers! Get ready to cast your lines and reel in the excitement at the Talbot County Youth Fishing Rodeo, set to take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at the serene Talbot County Park Pond, nestled at 170 Park Street in Talbotton, GA. This eagerly anticipated event promises a day of outdoor adventure and friendly competition for children aged 4 to 16 years old.

With the tranquil waters as your backdrop, anglers will have the opportunity to showcase their fishing skills and connect with nature in a fun-filled atmosphere. There’s a limit of 10 fish per child, so make sure to strategize and aim for that perfect catch! Registration operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay—secure your spot early as registration will close once capacity is reached.

While the focus is on the young fishermen and women, the whole family is invited to join in on the festivities and cheer on their aspiring anglers. Please note that only registered children are eligible to fish during the event.
