Hello friends!
Thanks for visiting Talbot County Parks and Recreation Department. I am Robbin Steverson, Director of Parks and Recreations. I am a dedicated community leader with over 15 years of experience in recreational management. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in Woodland, Georgia. My journey began with receiving education from Central Elementary High School in Talbotton, GA, followed by secondary education from Flint River Technical College in Thomaston, GA.
Passionate about youth development, I have hosted numerous community events for children and has consistently worked towards providing recreational activities for the youth and citizens of Talbot County. My commitment to the community is evident in my long-standing service as the Assistant Recreation Director for Talbot County and with my employment with Troup County Parks and Recreation.
During my leadership, Talbot County Recreation established a significant partnership with the National Alliance for Youth and Sports in January 2024, countless number of relationships with neighboring counties, and great support from parents. With a mission to restore and enhance the community’s parks, fields, and facilities, I am determined to make a positive impact on the culture of Talbot County. My dedication, determination, and passion for community service continues to drive my efforts in creating a better future for the youth and citizens of Talbot County.
